AstroSage Kundli is the app most people in India already have, and it covers nearly all of jyotish for free. Janam kundli, kundli milan, panchang, dasha periods and a large library of reading, in several Indian languages. AstroSage says the app has passed 70 million downloads.

What is AstroTalk good at?

AstroTalk is the biggest place to reach a real astrologer. You pick a person, you see their languages, their experience and their rate, and you speak to them by the minute.

A person can hear the question behind your question, which no app can do. That is worth paying for, and a lot of people do: AstroTalk reported about 1,176 crore rupees of revenue in the 2025 financial year.

What is Astroyogi good at?

Astroyogi puts free tools and paid astrologers in one place. You can cast a kundli and read the panchang yourself, then book a person when you want a second opinion. Astroyogi says it has served more than 3 crore users.

Real jyotish, actually computed

Muhura is sidereal, with the Lahiri ayanamsa, and it works the positions out on your phone. You get the nine grahas, the bhavas, the nakshatras and the varga charts. Rahu and Ketu use classical madhya positions by default, and you can switch to spashta if your tradition prefers it.

You can read your chart in the North Indian or the South Indian style, and switch whenever you like. You can change a password. You cannot change where and when you were born. Your birth date, your exact time and your place stay true about you for life, and together they point at one person quite precisely.

A kundli app ends up holding more than the chart. It holds who you are thinking of marrying, who your family is, and what you are worried about. Most apps know what you tapped. A kundli app knows what you are afraid of.

If a company never received your data, they cannot sell it. Nobody can buy it. Not even by buying the whole company.

How do you check a kundli app's privacy yourself?
